- Ensure that memory card is inserted and Mounted. If you are unsure if card is mounted or not, go to Settings>SD Card & Phone Storage>Unmount SD Card. (It will say "unmount" if the card is already mounted)
- Connect your device to your computer with your USB cable
- Once you see the USB icon in the Notification Tray, Drag down your notification shade and touch USB Connection Notification
- Select USB Mass Storage
- From your PC or Laptop, Select opencomputer or My Computer
- Your phone should be listed as a Removable Device (G:) or other removable device
- Select the Removable Device to open and view files. These are your phones files containing Video, photos, and music.
- Typically the files are designated as:
- DCIM for Photo and Video
- Notifications or Music for Ringtones
- Music for your music
- Once you find the file that you want to transfer, simply drag and drop into the appropriate library on your computer or device.
- When your transfers are complete, from the notification shade on your phone, select Turn off USB drive, or Charge only.
- Disconnect your device from the USB cable and computer and you're all set!
